Methodist Women meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall, with a key focus for the group being missions. The women distribute meal baskets to families in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas and adopt families for Christmas each year. They also participate in district and conference events and are actively seeking ways to be more connected to all the women of our church. And when there's an event at the church? You'll be sure to see Sharon's women of all ages serving. Please consider jumping in!
The Methodist Men of Sharon are one-of-a-kind. They’re hardworking, dedicated, compassionate, creative, and great cooks! They’re involved in not only building ramps with our United Methodist Volunteers in Missions teams, but raise thousands of dollars each year to send church kids to Methodist camps. You’ll find the men of all ages serving all around the church in many different ministries – and, come the 1st Thursday of every month about 6:00 PM, you’ll find many of them gathered around some good food in the fellowship hall (or at a restaurant for a special occasion) prior to their devotion time and meeting. Men of all ages are welcome!
On the 2nd Thursday of each month, Sharon men gather in the fellowship hall for the Methodist Men's Prayer Breakfast, which begins with the meal (a good, REAL breakfast!) at 8:00 AM before they spend focused time in prayer – for our church, one another, our community, our nation, our families…and whatever is laid on their hearts. Don’t worry if you’re not comfortable praying aloud….. you can always listen with your heart.
Saturday Night Life
A Missional Community Small Group launched by Pastor Jim and Susi Pegan in their home.
This community's goal is three-fold.
1) A community that seeks the Lord together through music, prayer, and sharing God's Word.
2) A community sharing a close fellowship over meals and fun times.
3) A community extending the love of Jesus through ongoing missional projects or relationships in the community.
Saturday Night Life meets the Second Saturday of the month at 6:00 at the parsonage. All are welcome!
