WORSHIP AT SHARON

Come as you are.

Sundays: 9:00 AM Sunday School / 10:00 AM Worship Service

Folks who join us in worship often say, "I feel like I’m home." Everyone is welcome at Sharon and you’re free to come as you are. Whether you’re exploring Christianity, new to faith, a long-time follower of Jesus, or anything in between, you are important to God and to us. We hope you find your time with us engaging and inspiring.  And just know that, wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we’re happy to have you with us.

SUNDAY MORNING AT SHARON

When you visit Sharon Methodist Church, we encourage you complete a Connect Card in your seat and place it in the offertory plate. Also, let an usher know that you’d like a Visitor’s Packet. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

Your children & youth are always welcome in in our worship services.

We love the sounds of babies and kids in our worship experiences!

We also realize that parents and grandparents may need a time to be fully engaged during worship without the distraction of their kids. No judgement here!  The Little Lambs Nursery is available for infants and toddlers as needed at any point during the service.

Need prayer on Sunday?

We believe in prayer. After all, it’s part of our mission statement. Prayer opportunities are available to anyone in need of support, encouragement, or celebration. The church and campus are covered in prayer prior to service, including everyone who walks through our doors. Prayer warriors in our church family are always available to pray with you. Whether you have a need or praise, let us know how we can join you in prayer on the Connection Card in your pew. Simply drop your card in the offering plate as it passes. And, of course, the altar is always open and available to spend meaningful time in prayer alone or with someone praying with you. During the service, the pastor prays for us, we pray The Lord’s Prayer corporately, and we see James 5:14 in action as our church family sometimes gathers to anoint believers for healing.

Please don’t feel obligated to participate in the offertory.

We take up an offering during the service as a true and obedient act of worship for members and regular attendees who consider Sharon Methodist Church their home. If you’re a guest, please consider filling out a Connection Card to drop in the offering plate as it passes. This helps us connect with you, pray for any requests you may have, or answer any questions.

OUR WORSHIP EXPERIENCE & TIME

Sundays 10:00 AM

Our 10:00 Worship service has a wonderful blend of Contemporary and Traditional elements. Music is a big part of our worship services and features a live generational praise band and choir providing both contemporary music and traditional hymns. Messages are built on biblical truths that you will be able to apply to your real life during the week.

We believe in integrating all ages into our worship experiences at Sharon as we learn from one another and share our gifts and talents. The worship arts are also greatly valued as seen through the great variety of music, instruments, liturgical dance, signing, drama, art, narratives, special presentations, and other interpretative arts weekly and throughout the Christian liturgical seasons.

Dress is casual for all – so come as you are and enjoy a worship service that is designed with you in mind.

ALL FRIENDS WELCOME!

We strive to expand our outreach into the community and invite others to join us in worship, including those with special needs, those who are not comfortable with or able to drive, and other situations which come to our attention. We greatly appreciate our volunteers who assist with getting folks here to our campus to be in fellowship with us.

NEED A LITTLE EXTRA HELP TO HEAR AND SEE?

No worries….we have special headsets to help you hear the sermon and visuals projected on the wall to see information and lyrics.

COMMUNION

The first Sunday of each month, our worship services offer the opportunity to participate in Holy Communion. Communion is taken by intinction, where the bread, representing the body of Christ broken for you, is offered to you to dip into the grape juice, representing the blood of Christ shed for you. At the blended service, folks can choose intinction or the individual cups of juice with the bread. All are welcome at the Communion Table, regardless of denominational affiliation, age, or place in life. And if you have a sleeping baby in your arms or have trouble walking to the altar, don’t worry. Communion can be brought to you. Just let an usher know.

ONLINE

For those who live other places, are traveling, are hospitalized or sick, or who are only able to worship with us occasionally or seasonally, we broadcast the 10:00 AM worship service, along with a few special services, find out here how you can tune in online.
